Read below for more information and stay tuned for details!

Today we announced YouTube Live, a celebration of the vibrant communities that exist on the site, to be held on November 22 in San Francisco and streamed for a potential worldwide audience of millions.

YouTube users have been gathering informally for years, but this is the first time that YouTube is officially leaping off screens for an event unlike any other. With live performances, celebrity guests, original videos, surprise collaborations and much more, the event will mix elements of a concert, variety show and party, with YouTube phenomena always at the core. Here's a idea of what to expect:
Go to www.youtube.com/live for all the latest news on the event, including a list of who's already onboard to appear, and to take our survey, which is your chance to tell us what you would expect from an event like this. (You can also leave a comment below or on the video above, or post a video response to that clip.) The channel will also contain information on how to apply for tickets to attend the event in San Francisco.

You'll be hearing from us a lot more about YouTube Live between now and November 22, so stay tuned to our channel, this blog and, naturally, the videos on the site talking about the event. Finally, we'd like to thank sponsors Activision, Lionsgate and Virgin America for helping to make YouTube Live possible.

Matt Morris To Release “Backstage at Bonnaroo” EP on September 23rd

On Tour With Joan Osborne For 22 Dates This Fall

On September 23rd, Matt Morris will release Backstage at Bonnaroo and other Acoustic Performances, a five-song EP released by Tennman Records.  The EP provides audiences a first look at an incredible artist who is unafraid to speak his mind.  That same week, Matt will embark on a 22-date US tour supporting Grammy-award winner Joan Osborne on her Little Wild One tour.

Matt Morris brought down the house when he kicked off this year’s Bonnaroo Music Festival.  The concert generated a substantial media buzz including an “up-and-comer” nod from Rolling Stone Magazine.  Backstage at Bonnaroo and other Acoustic Performances features songs from an impromptu backstage performance recorded during the festival.  Matt was accompanied by guitarist Charlie Sexton, who is also co-producing Matt’s upcoming album.  “We'd never played these songs together that way - acoustically,” says Matt, “and we didn't even bother to talk about the arrangement of the songs beforehand.  I remember having this sense that we were capturing something really special here.”

Backstage at Bonnaroo and other Acoustic Performances is our first glimpse of Matt Morris, who will release an album next year. Blessed with an incredible voice, Matt Morris often draws comparisons to Freddy Mercury and Jeff Buckley.  Tennman Records Chairman and CEO Justin Timberlake says, “He’s kind of like Ray La Montagne meets Elton John meets Stevie Wonder meets Rufus Wainwright.  It’s time for the birth of the hybrid artist.”

Matt is well known for writing songs for Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, and Justin Timberlake.  However, the songs on Backstage at Bonnaroo and other Acoustic Performances have a much different feel.  His latest songwriting is filled with an urgency and depth that speak of the struggles and challenges people face.  The stripped down performances on the EP draws in the listener to focus on Matt’s soulful lyrics.  On "Money”, Matt calls on listeners to examine what money means to us as individuals, and as members of a global community.  “We expect a lot from our money.  We want it to stretch, and multiply, and make us happy.  Money motivates us to work, to kill, to betray - and yet, I'm not convinced that money is inherently evil. Money feeds, houses, clothes, educates... when we allow it to,” says Morris.  “We're an affluent nation; a generous people.  But, we're also obsessed with our money, and what we can get for it.”

Backstage at Bonnaroo and other Acoustic Performances is a powerful introduction to Matt Morris.  The five-song EP will be available during Matt’s tour as well as on iTunes, Amazon and other online stores starting September 23rd.

Esmee Denters Blog Entry: Kira Plastinina's Fashion Show and Meeting Chris Brown

So I said before that I had more to tell you guys about this trip. After the Bahamas, I went to LA because this really talented and young Russian designer Kira Plastinina invited me to her fashion show/party. The event was because Kira is opening her own stores all over America! There were a lot of celebrities at the party. And it was the first time that I walked down “the red carpet”. So I was little nervous, but I just put a big smile on my face and had fun with it!

The fashion show was really cool and after the show, Chris Brown performed on the runway! He is such an amazing artist - he can sing and dance his ass of LOL. I got to meet him too and he was super nice!!! Kira and I hung out together and she was really, really cool. We are going to work together in the future to design some new clothes especially for me, which is so cool!

Esmee Denters Blog Entry: Esmee's Trip to the Bahamas for People Magazine

Hey everybody - I just got home, and I’m getting ready to unpack my bags!

I wanted to update you guys about what I have been doing lately. The last two weeks have been so much fun for me. It all started off in the beautiful Bahamas.

I was invited by People Magazine to perform at their annual party - and they sure know how to throw a party! I got to stay at the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at in my whole life - it’s called the Atlantis. It looks like a theme park, and they have aquariums all over the place. They even have a slide that goes through one of the aquariums so you can see sharks swimming as you go down. Isn’t that crazy? I only stayed there for two days, but I made sure that I did everything that there was to do. I tried all the water slides, swam in the ocean, in the pool… and the best part of the whole trip was that I got to swim with dolphins!!!! :-) That’s something I have always wanted to do since they are my favorite animals!!! And it was amazing!

First, we got this weird underwater scooter (I’m not even sure if you call it that). But all you had to do is hold on to it and follow the dolphins. Then, we got to kiss and hug the dolphins - they were so cute! I got to swim and play with them for about an hour, but I had so much fun that I didn’t want it to be over LOL. One day I hope to come back to the Bahamas and do it again.

Of course, I was there to perform, which was just as much fun. I performed two songs: "As" by Stevie Wonder, and one of my own new songs called “Memories Turn To Dust”. The people from the magazine were all so nice. I had a really good time!

I have a lot more to tell you guys about this trip – I will continue in my next blog.

But for now, I wanted to ask you something and share with me your answers: Is there something that you have always wanted to do? What is it?
